Passenger flows

Among the advantages of metro advertisement one may single out the availability of exact statistics of its potential audience. Daily passenger flows have been calculated for each line and each station of the Moscow underground. The availability of these data permits advertisers to calculate the efficiency of their communications campaigns.

Statistical examination of multi-million passenger flows in the Moscow metro was performed by employees of the Moscow Metro State Unitary Enterprise in 1999 and 2002. A specific original calculation method was developed for every project that reflected on examination results. Nowadays the Moscow Metro performs daily accounting of the number of passengers that use the underground transport.
